"Stone Age Houses in Finland on the bases of excavations and experiments" tells how the conception of the stone age buildings has been developing from the beginning of 20 th century. It tries to separate accurate the the collection of new observations and the changes in the source models which have been use to explain the findings. The results of experiments done with the covering materials for the huts from the year 1989 are described. Also some attempts to reconstruct the buildings have been criticized.
